When Moby said “I like nothing better than a free party where I get to DJ with my friends.” this idea was born.
As part of a team, we were asked to raise the awareness of O2’s music credentials and mobile ticketing. We gave O2 customers the chance to put 1,500 friends’ names on the VIP guest list for a one-off party headlined by Moby at Indigo2.
Entrants set up their list on the microsite, then using their social networking skills, invited as many friends as possible to join it via MMS, or by uploading an image of themselves online. The group with the most friends / first to 1,500 got on the guest list.
